Chapter Seven: How to Work on a Keylogger
There are a lot of things that you will be able to do when it comes to surveying the computer as a white hat or black hat hacker. You could use Python in order to capture the keystrokes that others are putting into the computer to figure out usernames and passwords. You can use it in order to capture screenshots of what others are doing and learn their credit card and other personal information. You can make Python script turn into a file that is executable and even have it set up so that the script is going to start running when the user is logging onto Windows. We are going to take some time to learn how to do some of these processes so that as the hacker, you are able to get the information that you need.
Logging the Keystrokes
The first thing that we are going to look at is learning how to do keylogging. This is going to be something useful to learn along the way as a hacker. Many times it is difficult to figure out the passwords that others are using in order to get their personal information. You could spend time trying out random letters and numbers to figure out what the password is, but this is often not the best method because it can take a long time. As people try to make more sophisticated methods to make their passwords harder to get ahold of, you will find that it is not easy to try to do this manually.
